Dr. Yen-Po (Harvey) Chin, MD, PhD is the co-founder and chairman of AGM International Group, a company focusing on empowering companies and talented individuals to reach new heights.
He formerly held the position of management consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving a diverse client base in the life science (biotech/medtech/pharma/CDMO) and technology (AI/SaaS) sectors. His experience spans business development and licensing strategies, cross-border market entry strategy, B2B sales strategy, M&A strategy, as well as IPO/fundraising. Furthermore, he has supported leading private equity firms on portfolio growth and exit strategies.
Prior to McKinsey, Dr. Harvey was an inaugural Harvard Healthtech Innovation Fellow, where he worked alongside physicians and scientists from Harvard to transform innovations into fundable business ventures. Preceding this, he established himself as a serial entrepreneur in the medical AI domain, earning the prestigious recognition as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree—the first Taiwanese physician to receive the award.
Dr. Harvey received his MD from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, PhD in Biomedical Informatics from Taipei Medical University, and postdoctoral master's degree in Biomedical Informatics from Harvard Medical School.
In addition to his professional achievements, Harvey is committed to mentoring and coaching talented individuals, having successfully guided over 550 students and young professionals in realizing their career aspirations to date.
Guan-Lun brings rich experience in operations, business development, and asset management to serve as co-founder and managing member of AGM International Group. Prior to co-founding AGM, Guan-Lun worked with venture capital firms in Silicon Valley, New York, and Europe on investments across AI and FinTech and backed early-stage startups as an angel investor. Before he sat on the other side of the table, Guan-Lun was an operator who led business development to scale venture-backed MedTech and Climate Tech startups and spearheaded the launch of innovative products as a product and project manager within leading electronics conglomerates.
Guan-Lun also manages assets on behalf of his family office, allocating capital to public markets, private equity, and real estate investments across the United States and Asia. He has built a portfolio of high-growth technology stocks, venture capital funds with distinctive theses and social missions, and residential and commercial properties.
Guan-Lun holds an M.B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of Business, and a M.S. in Quantitative Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Beyond his professional life, he takes pride in being a dog dad, a certified swimming coach & lifeguard, and an amateur chef who once worked as an ex-fry cook in Yellowstone National Park.
Lin-Ga Tsan has served as a General Partner at AGM International Group since 2023, specializing in Sustainability & Growth Strategy, with a focus on the Cleantech and industrial sectors, including renewable energy, e-mobility, and advanced electronics. His career is distinguished by his achievements in management consulting, investment management, and corporate strategic development.
During his tenure at Delta Energy Inc., a subsidiary of Delta Electronics (2308.TW), Lin-Ga was instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction and expanding its renewable energy portfolio in Asia. As one of its four founding members and the Head of Business Portfolio & Strategy, he led the development of the company's first 10-year organic growth strategies, managed business operations spin-off from start-to-end, and co-led global partnership development with infrastructure PE funds, industry-leading energy developers, and financial institutions. His role in formulating strategic Go-To-Market initiatives showcased his ability to navigate market dynamics, drive business growth, and forge strong partnerships in the renewable energy sector.
Lin-Ga's tenure at IBM Consulting and Delta Electronics' corporate strategic office (Delta Solution Office) was instrumental in refining his strategic thinking and business acumen, where he served a diverse global leading client base across sectors like advanced electronics, industrial OEMs/ODMs, e-mobility, and energy. His fundamental contributions included developing and implementing 5-year business growth plans, new business incubation, technology-to-market acceleration, and Go-To-Market strategies.
Lin-Ga's professional journey also includes valuable experience in wealth management. His role at J.P. Morgan's Hong Kong office involved managing over US$ 1 billion in assets, where he provided a broad range of public/private capital market products to global PE/VC fund managers and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This experience enhanced his understanding of financial markets and client needs across diverse sectors.
Holding dual bachelor's degrees – a BSc. in Energy Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from National Cheng-Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, Lin-Ga's academic foundation has given him a comprehensive perspective in addressing complex industry challenges.
